AN INTERMEDIATE LEVEL GOLFING HOLIDAY will definitely improve your game and get you well on the way to improving or getting your first handicap! There is nowhere more popular to go than Spain’s Costa del Golf!
With over 300 sunny days a year and some of the finest courses in the world, the Costa del Sol is an idyllic venue for this sport.
We at Andalucia and Beyond have put together an intermediate golfing week with first class tuition. Villa or hotel accommodation and car hire can be arranged if required.
This golfing break is designed for a player who has a good grounding in the game and who has played for at least 6 months or has his/her first handicap.
 The first 4 days of the course (ie Monday to Thursday) will take place at either La Noria or the Miraflores courses on Mijas Costa. The location will depend on weather conditions since La Noria does not have an under cover driving range whereas Miraflores does.
On the Friday you will have the opportunity to play half a round of golf at either La Noria or Miraflores. Clubs are included over the 4 course days and can be hired for the final day.
Our Pro can take a maximum of 6 people at a time but we will be happy to organize a second pro if a larger group wish to participate. We welcome both groups and singles so if you really want to improve your game, what are you waiting for? You won’t be in better company or better surroundings and in your free time there is plenty on offer down here on the Costa del Sol.
GOLF TUITION OUTLINE
Day 1 – 4, 2 hours a day of group tuition (max6) with our resident PGA professional Mike Roberts at Miraflores golf academy or La Noria on Mijas Costa.
Days 1-4 golf club loan and balls
Day 5 nine holes at Mirafores or La Noria with your Pro.
YOUR GOLF HOLIDAY INCLUDES
- 8 hours intermediate tuition over 4 days at either Miraflores Golf Academy or La Noria. Club and ball hire days 1 – 4
- 9 holes at either La Noria or Miraflores on the 5th day with green fee included. Plus club & trolley hire if required.
- Golfer’s welcome pack, balls, marker and pitch repairer.
 YOUR PROFSSIONAL
Mike Roberts started playing at the age of 5 and after leaving university he turned pro and took up his first position as an assistant at Stover GC in Devon. Since then he has worked at Finchley GC Knebworth GC and most recently spent 10 years working as Club Professional at Mount Pleasant GC.
In December 2005 Mike relocated to Spain with his family and took up the position as Director of Golf at Miraflores Golf Academy. Mike has been teaching and playing golf for nearly 25 years and has coached players of all levels from complete beginners to touring professionals and everyone in between.
The golf academy is exit km198 from the coast road A7/N340 signposted Riviera del Sol. As you come off the main road and get to the rounabout you take the road up the hill (past Opencor). At the top of this road is a crossroads, turn left and you will see the Golf Academy on your left hand side.
 La Noria – La Cala de Mijas
La Noria is a 8 hole par 33 course, situated at La Cala de Mijas, within walking distance of the town. The course is mainly flat although one hole has a bit of a climb. It is suitable for both beginners and intermediate players, with a par 5, 4 par 4 holes and 4 par 3 holes.
MASSAGE
Available as an optional extra ranging from a 10 minute pre-practice loosener to a 1 hour Fusion massage which will relax you completely after all your hard work!
