WHY MIJAS?

We offer good quality villa accommodation in and around the picturesque white village of Mijas on the Costa del Sol. The great climate makes this area a popular destination all year round. Winter and Spring are fairly mild and the days are wonderful for exploring many of the stunning sights Andalucia has to offer (without the crowds!). It’s the perfect climate for golfers and although we can’t guarantee a rain free winter, after the showers the sky is blue and the sun always shines!

Mijas is one of those ‘must visit’ villages. It is traditional, charming and very laid back! During the summer months the village has many many visitors from all over the world but there is always a warm welcome from the locals. During the winter and spring things are a lot quieter and the weather is still perfect to explore the narrow cobbled streets of whitewashed houses and enjoy the stunning views down to the Mediterranean. There are some fine restaurants too – as well as some friendly bars where you can mix with the locals.

VILLA ACCOMMODATION

Our villas are comfortable, well equipped and child friendly.
They are cleaned with a complete linen change once a week and other staff are employed to care for the garden and pool.
All linens are supplied except beach towels.

Bedrooms will all have heating and the majority of our villas have fireplaces so if necessary a ‘real fire’ can be set. Logs can be bought at petrol stations and clients pay locally for this.

Our pools are not heated – but they will be maintained in case our clients wish to bathe during the winter months.

The villas do not have a telephone connection but you will be told where a public phone is located, if you do not have a mobile.
You will have local contact numbers so that you can always call a member of our staff in an emergency.

Our price quoted is for the villa itself and includes a fold up bed generally suitable for a child. Cots and highchairs can be supplied at a supplement – please enquire when booking.

RENTAL PERIOD

Our prices are quoted for a weekly rental Friday to Friday or Saturday to Saturday. However, during the period Nov – March we are happy to discuss villa rentals of any duration over 7 days and varied arrival days. Please CONTACT US with your enquiry

HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION

If you wish to make a reservation please email us with your request. We will then confirm by return email or telephone that the dates required are available. We will then hold the dates for a few days while you arrange your flights etc.

We recommend that you do not book flights until the accommodation required has been confirmed by us. Payment details are set out on our Reservation form and can be by bank transfer to a UK bank or via Paypal.

Our RESERVATION FORM must be completed and a deposit of 50% is required. The balance is to be paid 6 weeks prior to your arrival and upon receipt we will send you driving instructions and key information. Your deposit is non-refundable if you cancel less than 6 weeks prior to arrival. You will also be given contact numbers of our company in Mijas.

CHECK IN/OUT TIMES

Guests are requested to vacate the villa by 10am.
New arrivals are welcomed after 3pm.

BREAKAGE DEPOSIT

A deposit of 150 euros will be added to the final balance and will be repaid on departure subject to damage and/or breakages.
We are confident that villas will be left in a clean and tidy condition and if not Andalucia and Beyond reserve the right to deduct extra cleaning charges from the breakage deposit.

PARTY SIZE

The maximum party size is indicated in the villa description. At no time should more people occupy the property. Andalucia and Beyond reserve the right to refuse admission if this condition is not observed.

INSURANCE

Insurance is not included in our villa rentals.
You should therefore ensure that all members of your party have sufficient medical, holiday and travel insurance.
The villa owners and their agents cannot be held responsible for any personal injury or accident to villa guests during their stay.

RIGHT OF ACCESS

The villa owners and Andalucia and Beyond have the right to access the property for the purpose of essential repair work and inspection.

ALTERNATIVE ACCOMMODATION

If, for reasons beyond our control, a property is unsuitable for occupation or unavailable on your arrival date Andalucia and Beyond S.L. reserves the right to offer alternative accommodation which will be comparable to the property originally contracted.
